The treatment involves subcutaneous injection of sensitive points on the forehead, occipital area, temples and neck with botulinum toxin (Botox or derivatives). The result of the treatment appears after 2–7 days and consists of interruption or reduction of the experienced symptoms for a period of 3–4 months.
