Indications for earlobe plasty
- excessively large earlobes,
- earlobe torn by an earring.
Before the earlobe plasty procedure:
A consultation is required before the procedure, during which the specialist will answer all of the patient's questions. Tests required for earlobe plasty include: complete blood count, blood type, coagulation panel, HBs, HCV. Additionally, blood-thinning medications (e.g. aspirin) must not be taken for at least 10 days before the procedure. Please arrive for the procedure with clean, washed hair.

Local.
Duration of the surgery:
Approx. 40-60 minutes.
Course of the earlobe plasty surgery:
A local plasty is performed - the torn earlobe is sutured or reduced. Sutures are placed for one week (removed after 7 days).
Postoperative recommendations:
The dressing is changed the following day. Scar ointments should be applied for 2 weeks after the procedure. It is recommended to wear clip-on earrings permanently until a satisfactory scar is achieved.
