Before nose correction with threads:
A consultation is necessary, during which the patient is informed about the planned implantation sites, the thread path, and the expected outcome. The patient should attend the consultation with a profile photo and an en-face photo to plan the desired nose shape. Required tests (for local anesthesia): blood type, complete blood count, coagulation panel, HBs, HCV.
Type of anesthesia:
Local
Duration of the surgery:
Approx. 1 hour.
Course of the surgery:
Under local anesthesia, the nasal tip is corrected using a special Aptos thread with a needle (non-absorbable), which maintains the effect for many years.
Postoperative recommendations:
Avoid trauma and pulling of the nose for 3–4 weeks. No heating / sun exposure for approx. 4 months.
Recovery time after nose correction:
The final result is visible after approx. 1 month. Swelling may persist for up to 3–4 weeks.
