Advantages of platelet-rich plasma mesotherapy:
Injecting PRP with a thin needle through the skin enables the release of growth factors from platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which consequently causes cell proliferation, formation of blood vessels and, most importantly, formation of new collagen structures – all of these processes are key in anti-aging therapy. The PRP plasma used in our clinic can achieve, depending on the chosen package, up to 30-fold platelet concentration (Angel system).
How is Angel platelet-rich plasma prepared?
A small blood sample from the patient (from 40ml) is processed using highly specialised medical equipment (Angel System) to extract platelet-rich plasma – PRP. For the patient's injection we take the richest part of the centrifuged preparation (the leukocyte-platelet layer; the middle layer). Additionally, the Angel system equipment we use allows, thanks to optical sensors, the selection of mainly platelets (over 80%) from this layer, while discarding leukocytes.
This uniquely prepared PRP, containing growth factors, is injected pointwise under the skin of the face, neck, décolletage, hands and other areas requiring revitalisation.
How long does the procedure take?
The procedure takes from 20 minutes to one hour.
Results of the procedure:
Results progress gradually as the collagen fibres regenerate. After 1–2 weeks the skin is firmer and smoother. Discolorations fade. The treatment is performed once and may be repeated (in the case of Angel no more than once every 6 months), depending on the rate of natural skin ageing processes.
