PRP regenerative therapy is a modern, skin-rejuvenating anti-ageing procedure that stimulates the patient's own tissue-regeneration potential. The treatment aims to firm and smooth the skin while improving its texture and tone.
Advantages of platelet-rich plasma mesotherapy:
Injecting PRP through the skin with a fine needle releases growth factors from the platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which consequently stimulates cell proliferation, new blood vessel formation, and — most importantly — the creation of new collagen structures. All of these processes are central to anti-ageing therapy. The PRP used at our clinic achieves, depending on the selected package, up to a 14-fold platelet concentration (Angel system).
How is Angel platelet-rich plasma prepared?
A small blood sample from the patient (from 40 ml) is processed using highly specialised medical equipment to extract platelet-rich plasma — PRP. For injection, we use the most component-rich fraction of the centrifuged preparation (the buffy coat; middle layer). In addition, our Angel system uses optical sensors to select predominantly platelets (over 80%) from this layer while discarding leukocytes.
This uniquely prepared PRP, containing growth factors, is then injected point-by-point beneath the skin of the face, neck, décolletage, hands, and other areas requiring revitalisation.
How long does the procedure take?
The procedure takes between 20 minutes and one hour.
Results of the procedure:
Results develop gradually as collagen fibres regenerate. After 1–2 weeks the skin is firmer and smoother. Pigmentation fades. The treatment is performed as a single session and may be repeated (in the case of Angel, no more than once every 6 months), depending on the pace of the skin's natural ageing processes.
