Laser hair removal using the VECTUS™ diode laser is a procedure that allows for safe and permanent hair removal. The laser, thanks to its perfectly distributed light beam and the Photon RecyclingSM technology that recovers light reflected from the skin, enables effective and fast hair removal. The built-in Skintel™ intelligent melanin reader allows precise and safe adjustment of treatment parameters, minimising the risk of burns. The laser light is absorbed by the pigment, which leads to photothermal destruction of the hair follicle. Results of VECTUS™ laser hair removal are visible after the very first treatment. For best results, a series of several treatments is required (depending on the area).
Advantages:
- Speed – thanks to the enlarged tip, hair removal of large areas is possible in just a few minutes
- No burns – the intelligent Skintel™ reader safely adjusts the treatment parameters
- Efficacy – visible reduction of regrowth after the very first treatment
Before the procedure:
No special tests are required. The VECTUS™ laser allows the procedure to be performed without letting hair grow out; however, waxing must be stopped one month before the procedure. The area should be shaved with a razor before the treatment.
Type of anesthesia:
None (contact cooling is applied during the procedure).
Duration:
Depending on the area treated, very short – e.g. back hair removal takes approximately 3 minutes.
Course of the procedure:
The laser is directed at the treatment area; no gel is required on the skin (unlike other similar procedures). During the treatment the skin is continuously cooled. As a result, heat sensation during the procedure is minimal.
Post-procedure recommendations:
Immediately after the procedure the skin may be slightly red. After the treatment, sauna, sunbeds and hot baths should be avoided. It is recommended to use post-laser preparations that reduce redness and itching to increase patient comfort.
