Before the breast augmentation with own fat tissue procedure a consultation is necessary, during which the patient presents her expectations. During the consultation, the plastic surgeon assesses the feasibility of the procedure (it cannot be performed in very slim women due to insufficient adipose tissue for transplant; in such cases breast augmentation with implants is possible), agrees with the patient on the donor sites from which the adipose tissue / fat will be harvested, and discusses the procedure methods, including the effects of using stem cells in the autologous adipose tissue transplant. The patient is also informed that due to the natural reabsorption process of the transplanted tissue, a repeat procedure may be necessary.

The procedure involves harvesting adipose tissue by liposuction from the agreed donor site (abdomen, thighs, hips) and preparing it for transplant. Depending on the chosen method, the harvested material may be enriched with platelet-rich plasma or stem cells, which increase the survival rate of fat cells. The fat is then implanted into the breasts through small incisions, shaping their contour.

After the procedure, depending on the anesthesia method used, the patient is discharged from the clinic on the same day or remains for one night under the care of qualified medical staff at Artisan Clinic. In the initial period the breasts are excessively, maximally enlarged because approximately 20–40% of the volume will diminish over time. Mild pain that may persist for several days can be relieved using pain relief medications recommended by the doctor.

After the procedure it is recommended to wear a soft, elastic bra for 6 weeks, as well as compression garments at the liposuction site in order to shape the figure.
After the liposuction procedure, endermologie is recommended to accelerate adipose tissue metabolism.
After the procedure, hot baths, use of sauna, and intensive tanning should be avoided for at least 6 weeks.
